You can select multiple mods with Ctrl+click.
To disable/re-enable a mod select its folder in the list and press “Enable/Disable Mod(s)” button. To uninstall a mod select its folder in the list and press “Uninstall Mods” button. All included DLCs, menus and hotkeys are detected and installed automatically! Locate the file you downloaded in the file browser and press “OK” to start the process. To install a mod download it from Nexus and press “Install Mod” button. Open up “Settings”->”Configure Settings” menu and set up the path to the “witcher3.exe” file (TW3 executable) and to the “WitcherScriptMerger.exe” (Script Merger executable).
You can then pin the program to your toolbar or create a desktop icon for quick access.
The tool itself does not require installing- download “Witcher 3 Mod Installer and Uninstaller” package from Nexus, unpack it (with 7zip, for example) and run the “Witcher 3 Mod Installer” executable. GUI offers more information on each mod status. The program can now install mods packed with 7z, zip and rar, so manual unpacking is no longer needed. You can now disable a mod temporarily without uninstalling it: right click on a mod in the list and choose “Enable/Disable selected mod(s)” option. Note that you can disable this message in “Settings”->”Configure Settings” menu and launch the Script Merger manually with “Run Script Merger” button. Pressing “Yes” launches the Script Merger. After installing/uninstalling a mod, a pop-up message appears suggesting you to merge your mods with Script Merger. “Run Script Merger” button was added for faster Script Merger access. Configuration options can now be found under “Settings”->”Configure Settings”: you can set up the “witcher3.exe” path, “WitcherScriptMerger.exe” path and installer behavior there. Here’s a screenshot of an updated GUI for the manager: Press “Run Script Merger” and merge your installed mods.
With 0.3BETA update the guide just got even simpler: In my previous post about Mod Manager I wrote a guide on how to use it for installing mods one-by-one.
